Golfo Aranci is a small village whose historic center is located about a kilometer from the port where our ferries dock. The origin is that of a fishing village that settled permanently in this area in the nineteenth century. In reality the origins of this village date back to the Nuragic civilization and important evidence can be found in the historical finds that have been discovered in the stretch of sea in front of Golfo Aranci and also from the discovery of the Sacred Well of Milis, from the Nuragic age: the most important archaeological research site in the surroundings of Golfo Aranci.
In Golfo Aranci, from the seafront, you can listen to the song of the Siren. Every day at 11:30 and 19:00 the Siren, with the features of a Sardinian woman, created by an artist, comes out of the water accompanied by the song “Figari nel cuore” which tells the exciting story of Golfo Aranci and that of its inhabitants who came from the sea. It is a bronze statue of about 3.5 meters that at the indicated times emerges from the sea, offering its song as a welcome to fishermen and tourists.
The beautiful seafront, the tourist port, the lovely city beaches, the colorful houses of the village are already a reason enough to visit the town of Golfo Aranci, always full of events and sporting demonstrations.

The first stop will be in Capriccioli. A strip of granite land juts out into the sea in the southern part of the Costa Smeralda with delightful coves of fine sand, while in the background the view is captivated by the islets of the Maddalena archipelago park. This dream place is Capriccioli, just south of the Emerald ‘capital’ Porto Cervo, in the territory of Arzachena, which is 15 kilometres away. In Gallura the name means ‘little goats’, indicating a pair of mighty, rounded rocks, smoothed by the sea and wind, which separate and enclose small beaches of soft, light sand, with silvery hues, which plunges into the sea with shades of bright blue, turquoise and emerald green. Here and there, pink granite rocks, with yellow-reddish reflections, peep out into the water and at the ends of the bay. All around, junipers, mastic trees, wild olive trees and maritime pines perfume the environment with Mediterranean essences and contribute to its wild charm.
After some free time at Cala Capriccioli, you will continue to Baja Sardinia. Immersed in uncontaminated nature, it has been known for more than fifty years as a prestigious seaside resort that, especially in the summer months, also becomes a place of residence for many VIPs and stars.
