Check-in, accommodation and overnight in Montepulciano.

Meet your driver at the hotel lobby and start your full day experience.

The landscape is the absolute protagonist.
Medieval castles, sinuous hills, ancient villages, beautiful farmhouses surrounded by the countryside, cypress avenues, fabulous vineyards and olive groves, and golden-colored wheat fields: these are just some of the elements that form the fantastic and harmonious landscapes of Valdorcia. Crossed by the Orcia river, from which the valley takes its name, this splendid region in south of Tuscany winds along the provinces of Siena and Grosseto. The entire area is now a protected park and it has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2004. The meain feature of Val d’Orcia is its uncontaminated and beautiful nature, with different depending on the seasons.

Today you will enjoy a guided tour through the hills of Montepulciano running into a spectacular view of the tuscan countryside.
After this experience, on the way back to your Farm, stop in a typical Organic Farm in Pienza for a tour and cheese tasting. During the guided tour can see what it means to live a peasant life today here in Val d’Orcia. The Farm family will show you a daily life at the farm, from the stable to the dairy. You will get to know the animals, from donkeys to peacocks, from sheep to goats and you will get to know more about their life in the farm. The tour will continue in the dairy where you can learn the secrets and watch the making of many cheeses including the traditional Pecorino. The tour ends with a cheese tasting at the table of the farm.
After this experience, free time to spend in Pienza.
In the afternoon, guided tour of Montalcino.
You will begin to walk in the historic center of this medieval village, while the guide will tell you the most fascinating chapters of its history. For example, what role it played in the conflicts between Siena and Florence and why it became a refuge for the nobility during the battles between these two cities.

The guided tour will give you the chance to observe the exterior of the 14th century Montalcino fortress, the Palazzo dei Priori and the Palazzo Pieri, some of the most emblematic buildings. The guide will also tell you about the winemaking tradition of this town, famous for its designation of origin wine, Brunello di Montalcino.

Return to your accommodation in Montepulciano and overnight.

Meet your driver at the Hotel lobby and start you day.

The guided and private tour of Siena begins from the Basilica of San Domenico, where you will find yourself in front of one of the largest and most beautiful churches in the city, belonging to the Dominican order. It contains the head-relic of Saint Catherine of Siena: for this reason, in fact, the church is also called the “Catherinian basilica”, due to the connection with the Sienese saint and some episodes of her life.
Place of departure for us and for Saint Catherine, who was born here. She is the patroness of Italy and Co-Patroness of Europe; she was and will always be a personality much loved by the sienese people. You will admire her relics, learn about her story and see her fascinating house.
You will continue with the magnificent complex of Siena Cathedral, including a serie of monuments among the most significant in the European artistic panorama. The Cathedral undoubtedly represents the fulcrum from which any further investigation departs. On the inside there is a suggestive and magnificent decoration by artists such as: Nicola Pisano, Donatello, Michelangelo, Bernini. The work present in the cathedral, which is exceptional in many ways, is the floor created with the graffito and marble veneer technique, the result of a program of classical and religious inspiration, which was carried out over the centuries, starting from the XIV century up to XIX century. You will then continue along the Corso, with its shops and typical products, to finally reach Piazza Del Campo, the place where the Palio di Siena takes place twice a year.
After this experience, you will continue to San Gimignano with his magnificent towers for a private guided tour of this village and its 14 towers.
Then, return to your accomodation and overnight

Meet your driver at the Hotel lobby and drive to Florence.

First stop is Piazzale Michelangelo. It represents the most famous observation point of the city panorama, reproduced in countless postcards and a mandatory destination for tourists visiting the city.

Your will meet your guide experience begins from Palazzo Pitti. Purchased in 1550 by Cosimo I de’Medici and his wife Eleonora di Toledo to transform it into the new grand ducal residence, Palazzo Pitti, shortly after it became the symbol of the consolidated power of Medici over Tuscany. Palace of two other dynasties, the Habsburg-Lorraine (successors of the Medici from 1737) and the Savoy, who inhabited it as Italian royals from 1865, Palazzo Pitti still bears the name of its first owner, the Florentine banker Luca Pitti, who in the mid-fifteenth century wanted to build it – perhaps based on Brunelleschi’s design – beyond the Arno, at the foot of the Boboli hill.
You will continue with Boboli Gardens.
Behind Palazzo Pitti lies the marvelous Boboli Gardens. The Medici were the first to take care of its arrangement, creating the model of Italian garden which became exemplary for many European courts. The vast green surface divided in a regular way constitutes a true open-air museum, populated with ancient and Renaissance statues, adorned with caves, first of all the famous one created by Bernardo Buontalenti, and large fountains, such as that of Neptune and of the Ocean. The subsequent Lorraine and Savoy dynasties further enriched its structure, expanding the borders that run along the ancient city walls up to Porta Romana. Of notable visual appeal is the terraced area where the eighteenth-century Kaffeehaus pavilion is located, a rare example of Rococo architecture in Tuscany, or the Limonaia, built by Zanobi del Rosso between 1777 and 1778. The visit to Boboli completes that of the Royal Palace of Pitti, of which it is an integral part, and allows you to fully grasp the spirit of court life and at the same time enjoy the experience of a garden that is always renewed while respecting its tradition.

Your Florence tour continues with a walking tour of the city. You will explore the third great wonder of Florence: its streets. Your guided walking tour takes you first to Piazza della Signoria, an open-air art gallery where Michelangelo’s David was originally supposed to stand. He was quickly relocated, but you can still see a replica at the entrance to the titanic Palazzo Vecchio.

Standing in the shadow of this fortress-like palace, your guide will teach you about the Medici; the family of bankers who underwrote the Renaissance – it wasn’t all sweetness and patronage with them though. Your guide has some shocking tales to tell.

From Piazza Signoria you’ll discover the greatest Uffizzi Art Gallery and of course Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s most picturesque bridge. As you walk by, your guide will tell you stories making the city alive around you. With a personal headset for each guest, you’ll be able to hear the guide crystal clear. The guide will also give you great restaurant recommendations and other tips to help you get the most from the rest of your time here.

Then, return to your accomodation and overnight.

Meet your driver at the Hotel lobby and drive to Florence for your Restoration Laboratory.

The headquarters is represented by a modern and large open space, where the laboratories take place: restoration of paintings, fresco technique, restoration of stone material and all activities related to drawing and painting.
After this special experience, free time to spend in Florence.

Then, return to your accomodation and overnight.

Meet your driver at the Hotel lobby and transfer to Cortona.
The guided tour of Cortona Classica begins from the upper part of the city, where, in a panoramic position about 600mt above the sea level, the Sanctuary of Santa Margherita stands, it is dedicated to the patron saint of Cortona. The route will continue on foot downhill towards the historic centre, crossing a paved path surrounded by greenery which will lead us to the enchanting Renaissance Church of San Niccolò, which houses a beautiful work by the Cortonese painter Luca Signorelli.
The guided tour will continue towards the thirteenth-century church of San Francesco, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, which houses numerous works of art of great value inside. We will then pass in front of the Church of San Marco which has a colorful mosaic on its façade depicting the saint of the same name, a masterpiece by the futurist painter from Cortona Gino Severini.
The guided tour of Cortona will continue in Piazza Garibaldi, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno, to conclude with a visit to the ancient Church of San Domenico, which preserves important pictorial works by the Renaissance artists Luca Signorelli and Bartolomeo della Gatta.
