Naples is an open-air museum, it has a rich heritage of art, music, literature and theatre. The city of contradictions, which reveals itself to the eyes of those who know how to read its ancient history through the urban fabric, between the walls, the streets, the churches, the statues and, last but not least, the colors and smells of the characteristic alleys that seem suspended in the time.

Ancient Naples, a fascinating guided tour of the historic center of Naples where myth and legend mix starting from the birth of the city itself, linked to the memory of the Parthenope Mermaid. You will cross twenty centuries of history traveling through the heart of the ancient center of the city, with the famous Spaccanapoli street, the pulsating artery of Ancient Naples.

The historic center of Naples bears witness to the historical-artistic evolution of the city, from its first settlement in the Greek era to the Baroque city. Streets, squares, churches and all monuments constitute a treasure chest of exceptional artistic and historical treasures. During the guided tour, in the ancient center, you will be able to discover, rediscover and visit centuries-old places such as the Church of Gesù Nuovo, the Monastic Complex of Santa Chiara and the famous Sansevero Chapel, guardian of the Veiled Christ, (closed on Tuesdays, entry is expected, except queue for entry less than 30 minutes). The area of the Neapolitan nativity scene of San Gregorio Armeno will also be the subject of our guided tour, not to mention the Cathedral, guardian, in the Treasure Chapel, of the ampoule with the blood of San Gennaro.

During your visit you will taste the typical Neapolitan pastry: the Sfogliatella. The shell-shaped pastry is traditionally filled with ricotta cheese and topped with fruit, creating a sweet snack for any time of the day.

The afternoon will be at your leisure.

Guided tour of Pompeii, the most famous archaeological site in the world, it is a unique experience. Walking through the ancient city is like taking a journey back in time. You can breathe the atmosphere of the daily life of the ancient city! The eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD buried Pompeii, Herculaneum, Stabia and the entire Vesuvian area under a blanket of ash and lapilli.

On October 24, 79 AD with a series of explosions the eruption began. A column of gas, ash, pumice and lithic fragments rose from the mouth of the volcano.
The fallout of this column of gas, 15 kilometers high, led to the formation of pyroclastic flows and definitive destruction.

Most of the inhabitants, having fled their homes, found their deaths on the coast. The few remaining, hoping to save themselves in the basement of their homes, died of asphyxiation. The plaster casts of their bodies in agony are the moving testimony of the tragedy.
