The lush hills of the Piedmontese Langhe are the backdrop to one of the most appreciated sensory experiences for those who are looking for an itinerary that can create a grandiose mix of food and wine, history, art and magical landscapes. The Route of Barolo and the great Langa wines is a spectacular route, capable of combining the beauty of the landscape with the history and taste behind the production of one of the most prized wines of Piedmont, Barolo.
Entitled the “king of wines” or “wine of kings”, Barolo is composed solely of products deriving from the Nebbiolo grape. A wine with an intense flavor and a ruby red colour, this prized Piedmontese nectar of the Gods is aged for at least 38 months. It follows a specific production and maturation path, which you can discover on this magnificent journey in the Langhe hills.
