Vieste and the whole Gargano are witnesses of an ancient and fascinating history. In the Gargano we find the signs of the medieval era in numerous villages with fascinating characteristic architectures such as those of Vieste and Peschici, towns built overhanging the sea in strategic places to defend themselves from the incursion of the numerous dangers that threatened the Gargano.
In this itinerary we invite you to get to know the hinterland of Vieste on a food and wine tour.
Welcome in Italy! Independent transfer to your accommodation in Vieste.
Accommodation and overnight in Vieste.
Meet your driver in the hotel lobby for transfer to the Vieste countryside.
You will start by visiting one of the local cellars for a tasting in the middle of an ancient olive grove. You will meet the winemaker Cinzia and you will learn about her passion for the vineyard and her production techniques while sipping a selection of wines, specially chosen for your tasting. Locally produced extra virgin olive oil and other local specialties will also be provided. Then enjoy a walk in the vineyard.
After this experience, return to the hotel.

Meet your driver in the hotel lobby for a transfer to San Severo to learn about the Cantina D’Araprì.
This winery has an ancient history that dates back to the 1600s. You can admire evidence of the past such as: a piece of the ancient city walls from the 1200s, an ancient press from 1836 and the prison of the Carbonari Morelli and Silvati. this historic environment, the thousands and thousands of bottles age for at least three years in the cool and dark before seeing the light and being dressed. Today you will visit the basements where the sparkling wine production process takes place and at the end you will continue with the tasting of Brut RN or Gran Cuvée XXI sec. thousand current year. The opened bottle will remain with you with the stopper for free.
At the end of the tasting, served with charcuterie and aged cheeses, you will continue with a lunch in San Severo.
At the end of your experience, return to the hotel.

There is the land: Vesuvius, the lava soil, 16 hectares of vineyard.
Relax over lunch on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and enjoy discovering tasty local dishes paired with organic Vesuvio Lacryma Christi DOC Classic wines.
Today you will be welcomed with ‘Capafresca’ Spumante Rosé extra dry.
Then you will continue with a guided tour of the vineyards and winery on Mount Vesuvius to learn about Lacryma Christi DOC production.
In the end you will enjoy lunch paired with a tasting of 5 Vesuvio Lacryma Christi DOC wines and a Extra Virgin Olive Oil tasting.
After this half day in the Mount Vesuvius, return to Naples.
The rest of the day will be at your leisure.

Meet your driver in your hotel lobby for a transfer near Salerno towards a special Farm.
Take a walk to admire the buffaloes, with smells and noises that integrate with the modernity of the stables. Marvel at the wisdom of craftsmanship.
The journey ends with the dairy products tasting.
It includes as stages the vision of the processing of mozzarella, the breeding of buffaloes, a museum of rural civilization with more than a thousand pieces and the leather workshop. After your mozzarella workshop you will have a lunch in the Farm with all the home-made dishes and products.
After a full day tour, return to the hotel.
