Availability: from May to Sept 2024

Val d’Orcia is a large and wonderful countryside in southern Tuscany, close to the border with Umbria and on the slopes of Mount Amiata, which develops along the agricultural hinterland of Siena. It takes its name from the Orcia river that runs through it. It is a protected park in which the absolute protagonist is the amazing nature. It is no coincidence that one of the most photographed points is where the famous cypress trees of the Val d’Orcia are located, near San Quirico d’Orcia.

Its typical medieval Tuscan villages such as Pienza, Montalcino, Castiglione d’Orcia and San Quirico d’Orcia are perfect destinations for diving into the soul of this place, also savoring its well-known food and wine specialities.

The landscape is the absolute protagonist.

Medieval castles, sinuous hills, ancient villages, beautiful farmhouses, isolated farmhouses, cypress avenues, fabulous vineyards and olive groves, and golden-colored wheat fields: these are just some of the elements that form the fantastic and harmonious landscapes of Valdorcia. Crossed by the Orcia river, from which the valley takes its name, this splendid region south of Tuscany winds along the provinces of Siena and Grosseto. The entire area is now a protected park, and has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2004. The absolute protagonist of the Val d’Orcia is in fact a nature that is still uncontaminated and beautiful, with colors that are always different depending on the various seasons.

Today you will enjoy your wine tasting in a vineyard, located in the hills of Montepulciano that offers spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside. The team will welcome you and guide you to discover the unique terroir of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. It will be a sensorial experience to discover our wines. You will be introduced to the different stages of production, from harvesting to bottling, ending with wine tasting. A journey to discover the organoleptic characteristics of our products.
